Serves 8-12
Ingredients
1 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
3 cups low-sugar Vanilla Cheerios
1/4 cup dark choc chips
Method
Line a small square slice tin with baking paper.
Warm the peanut butter in a small saucepan over low heat until runny (alternatively, heat in microwave for 10-15 seconds). Stir through the honey.
Place the Cheerios in a large bowl. Pour over the peanut butter and honey and mix until the Cheerios are well coated.
Press the mixture firmly into the prepared tin using a spatula or the back of a spoon.
Melt the chocolate in a small bowl in the microwave, heating on high for 30 seconds at a time until melted.
Drizzle melted chocolate over slice.
Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour or until set, then cut into squares or bars and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Tips & Substitutions:
Swap peanut butter for sunflower seed butter to make these nut-free and lunchbox-friendly.
Want them sweeter? Add more honey or drizzle a little extra melted chocolate over the top before chilling.
